Move your body more and you’ll have more energy, a better mood, less stress, better sleep and a reduced risk of diseases such as diabetes, cancer, and heart disease, and those are just a few of the benefits! If you’ve decided that you want to lead a more active life, the Active Living Every Day program offers you all the tools you need to take the first steps toward success.
This a program proven by research to help participants become more active in their everyday lives. In this 12-week class, you’ll learn the skills you need to be successful being active, and more importantly, staying active and motivated. Topics include overcoming barriers to activity, tracking your time, strategies to sneak in physical activity throughout the day, rewarding yourself, and anticipating high risk situations. The program includes a book, online material access, step counter, giveaways, and more.
It’s a step-by-step plan for building a healthier life. With Active Living Every Day, you’ll be encouraged to choose activities that you like and that fit easily into your routine. You’ll even learn how everyday activities, like housecleaning and gardening, can really add up toward your weekly physical activity goals. Along the way you’ll develop confidence by building on small successes and overcoming obstacles—methods that have proven effective in producing lasting change. Learn from other class participants and achieve your goals.
